We Didn’t Start This to Sell Solar Panels. We Started It Because People Were Getting Ripped Off.

Back in 2016, buying solar panels in Pakistan was basically a gamble.

You’d walk into a shop on College Road in Rawalpindi, ask for a Longi panel, and the dealer would confidently hand you something that said Longi on the box. Was it genuine? Was it A-grade? Was the price fair? You had no way to know. You just paid and hoped.

Muhammad Saqib, our founder, watched this happen too many times. Friends overpaying by Rs 5–8 per watt. Homeowners getting B-grade panels sold as A-grade. Families spending their savings on a solar system, only to find out two years later that half their panels were counterfeit.

That frustration became JBMS Solar.

A Note on Net Metering

One of the most common mistakes we see: people buy panels that aren’t eligible for net metering. They install a beautiful system, generate surplus electricity, and then find out DISCO won’t accept their application because the panels aren’t AEDB-documented.

Every panel we sell is net metering eligible. We check this before anything goes on our platform.
