Here’s exactly what I was doing six months ago. Working out and comparing Jinko solar panel prices in Pakistan from three different solar dealers in Rawalpindi, all quoting “Longi panels,” but every single price was different.
One of them priced it at Rs. 28 per watt. Another said Rs. 38. The third one told me, “Bhai, there are different series of Longi, ” and I was given a brochure that I didn’t understand. This confusion really does cost people money. You could end up paying more than necessary. Or, even worse, you might buy a grey-market panel which comes without a warranty. Then, two years later, when the output drops and nobody answers the phone, you’ll realize your mistake.
So here is what I did: an honest and simple exposition of Longi solar panel prices in Pakistan at the moment, what the different models really stand for, and how to avoid deception.
Why Everyone’s Talking About Longi Right Now
Longi is not just the favorite in Pakistan. In fact, it is the solar panel producer with the highest shipments in the world, as Longi Solar. Also, it is one of the most stable Tier-1 producers throughout the years. And choosing a Tier-1 brand is important.
Because it is not just a word for marketing purposes, the Bloomberg NEF Tier-1 label is a classification that takes into account the manufacturer’s financial reliability, operation scale, and bankability. In other words, if you experience any issues with your panels, the company will still be able to honor the warranty. LONGi Hi-MO 7 is considered by many as the top go-to solar panel in Pakistan’s premium segment in 2026.
It is based on a state-of-the-art N-Type TOPCon cell structure that not only copes very well with high ambient temperatures, keeps its strength even after many years, and maintains high activity, but at the same time. That last one, the heat performance, is very important here in Pakistan. Your rooftop is almost a flame in June. So, a panel that can handle that without a significant decrease in the output is worth a higher price, in my opinion.
Longi Solar Panel Price in Pakistan | June, 2026

Weekly price changes happen because they reflect the USD/PKR exchange rates. However, here is a snapshot of prices in the main Longi series.
Hi-MO 5 (P-Type PERC) | Older Stock
Hi-MO 5 comes at a range of PKR 28.32 per watt for 540-570W models. This is the technology of the previous generation. You can still find it in the market, mostly from dealers who are trying to clear their inventory. It is a decent option, but if you are purchasing new, you should go for the latest series.
Hi-MO 6 (N-Type) | Mid-Range Sweet Spot
Hi-MO 6 (N-Type) has a price tag of PKR 32.36 per watt for 570-600W solar panels using N-Type TOPCon technology. With these prices, a 575W Hi-MO 6 will be about Rs. 18,400-20,700 per panel. This is the level where most medium-budget household systems are found.
Hi-MO 7 (N-Type HPDC) | Best Seller
The highly favored Hi-MO 7 (580W) comes at a rate of PKR 38.43 per watt, which is approximately PKR 22,000-25,000 per panel. In fact, the 575-610W Hi-MO 7 is currently the best-selling model in Pakistan.
Hi-MO X10 (HPBC 2.0) | Premium Tier
Hi-MO X10 (HPBC 2.0) at 620-670W comes with a price bracket of PKR 41.47 per watt, being the most advanced 2026 technology. On the premium side, a 640W X10 panel may be priced at Rs. 27,000-30,000 per panel. The LONGi Hi-Mo X10 HPBC 2.0 Anti-Glare, Anti-Shading variant is currently offered at 49.25 rupees per watt by some dealers, so always look for better deals.
The Per-Watt Rule | Don’t Skip This
Here’s the mistake I nearly made. I was comparing total panel prices and getting mixed up. The wiser approach is per-watt pricing.
Forget total panel prices and always compare per-watt prices. A 640W panel at PKR 41/watt (PKR 26,240) produces more electricity for a rupee than a 580W panel at PKR 43/watt (PKR 24,940). So, higher wattage panels almost always come with a more attractive price tag.
If a dealer gives you two panels and one comes with a “lower” price, do the per-watt math first. It will take less than a minute and totally change your perspective.
Which Longi Model Should You Actually Buy?
If you are one of the majority, then the answer is Hi-MO 7.
For a typical Pakistani home (system 35kW), Hi-MO 7 (580-585W) represents the best compromise between features and price. It is the one that authorised dealers usually have; it is extremely efficient, and it costs PKR 35/watt less than the X10.
You would be better off paying the extra amount for the X10 only if your rooftop space is very limited or you are going for a large commercial system.
Here’s how I would decide:
- Small home, strict budget: Hi-MO 6 (N-Type). Good quality panels are cheaper.
- 35kW residential system: Hi-MO 7. Ideal price-performance mix.
- Commercial rooftop or limited roof space: Hi-MO X10. More watts per square meter justify the higher price.
- Old stock clearance: Hi-MO 5. If getting significant discount and you don’t mind older technology.
What Makes Longi Stand Out in Pakistan’s Heat

What comes next is what really counts for Pakistan-specific conditions.
Temperature coefficient: The excellent temperature coefficient of Longi results in a panel of 580W at 25 °C producing only about 5.5% less output at 45 °C, whereas lower quality panels will be down by 79%. In a Pakistani summer, the difference in performance often means hundreds of additional units per year.
Bifacial design: The Hi-MO 6, 7, and X10 panels are all capable of front and back side electricity generation. The rear-side generation will lead to 5-15% extra power for free when the panels are installed on Pakistani rooftops with reflective surfaces such as white or grey paint.
Dust resistance: Whenever dust is the biggest reason for performance drop, the anti-soiling coating on Hi-MO 7 and X10 panels will keep them running at a higher level of performance. For example, abundant dust deposits in Lahore, Karachi, and DI Khan.
Efficiency numbers: With their N-type Hi-MO 7 and Hi-MO 9, LONGi leads in efficiency, producing up to 24% cell efficiency, which makes it a good choice for maximizing output.
Longi Solar Panel Warranty in Pakistan
Many buyers get trapped right here: they buy the panels, neglect checking the warranty, and then two years down the line, they find out that it’s grey market goods without any support.
At present, LONGi gives a 10-12-year product warranty for most models spotted in Pakistan. The 25-year linear power warranty means reliable performance, with 1.5% power loss only in the first year, so after 25 years, the panel still retains over 88.9% of its original power.
The Hi-MO 7 model comes with a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty.
Though here’s the point: such warranties are worthless if you bought the product from an unauthorized reseller. Make sure to always purchase from a verified Longi distributor and request original import documents. Longi panels are coded with a QR code that you can scan and verify on their portal.
How Many Panels Do You Need? (Quick Reference)
- 3kW system: 6 panels of 500580W
- 5kW system: 9-10 panels
- 10kW system: nearly 18 panels (18x580W = 10.44kW)
An 18-panel 10kW system in panels only costs about PKR 835,200-939,600 at current rates, and that is the price before inverter, mounting, and installation.
To get the 5kW residential system with Hi-MO 7 panels, you should be prepared to spend roughly Rs. 180,000-225,000 on panels only. Then, once you add your inverter (Growatt, Huawei, or GoodWe), mounting hardware, wiring, and installation, the complete system typically lands between Rs. 450,000-650,000 based on battery backup and installer fees.
Where to Buy Longi Panels in Pakistan
You may get a few options, but they’re not all up to par.
Authorized dealers: The safest bet. Hall Road Lahore, College Road Rawalpindi, and Saddar Karachi are the places where the solar market with legitimate distributors is established. Make sure to ask for original import documents and warranty registration.
Online stores: Platforms like JBMS Solar and others have Longi panels, which can be paid for via cash-on-delivery. Also, a good option for price comparison, but don’t forget to verify warranty terms before you order.
Direct from the installer: There are a number of solar installation companies (Alpha Solar, Beyond Green, etc.) that include panels with installation. Probably, you will pay a higher price for power per watt, but you get installation quality assurance.
Grey market/unverified dealers: Don’t even think about it. The price looks attractive. The warranty does not exist.
Common Mistakes Pakistani Buyers Make
Purchasing with the total price in mind rather than the per-watt price: I have mentioned this earlier, but I think this point should be repeated, as it misleads almost all of the buyers.
Not verifying the series: Merely “Longi panel” does not tell anything. Find out exactly which Hi-MO series it is. There can be a great difference (both in performance and price) between Hi-MO 5 and Hi-MO 7.
Failing to verify the warranty: Check the QR code on the panel before installation. A dealer who tries to hide this is giving you the answer.
Buying a lot more wattage for a cheap inverter: A 5kW inverter with 6kW of panels is acceptable. But if you get premium Hi-MO X10 panels and use them with a cheap single-phase inverter, that means the panel’s capability will be wasted.
Paying no heed to net metering regulations: Following the new net-metering buyback of Rs. 10 per unit, the emphasis has been put on self-consumption instead of exporting surplus units. Set the size of your system to be in balance with your daytime loads rather than go for an oversized system with the idea of selling the power to the grid.
Longi vs Other Brands | Quick Comparison
How well does Longi compare to Jinko, JA Solar, and Canadian Solar in Pakistan?
LONGi, Jinko, Canadian, and JA Solar are top in reliability mainly due to high efficiency (up to 22%), long warranties (10-25 years), and wide availability.
LONGi Hi-MO 7 and Jinko Tiger Neo are the best picks for most Pakistani consumers when it comes to a blend of efficiency, availability, genuine warranty support, and overall value.
If you are on a tight budget, JA Solar will probably be Rs. 3-5/watt less expensive than Longi while still having comparable N-type technology. Want the best heat performance, and money is not an object? Consider Hanersun HJT or Canadian HiHero.
Even so, for most of the Pakistani households? Longi Hi-MO 7 is it. It’s not the cheapest, but it has been tested in our environment.
Conclusion
The electricity situation in Pakistan is not improving. Although the prices are going higher, load shedding still continues, and the payback period for solar keeps on getting shorter. A good Longi system, which is installed today (properly sized, purchased from a legitimate dealer, and with warranty documents in hand), can break even in 4-6 years and continue operating reliably for 25+ years.
Simply don’t let a low sticker price on a panel that is not verified break your whole calculation.
Know the per-watt price. Get the series. Double-check the warranty. Then proceed to buy confidently.
